The Beck Group
By archiving the texture of actual buildings constructed by Beck. I collaged four separate buildings molds into four quadrants. Upper left, moving clockwise. Within the structure, I added various found objects and wood to fill space randomly, painted, then applied. Distinct various pieces where numbered within each quadrant and molded into plaster from the actual site of the building. Each one tagged using a satellite gps coordinate phone app. Then etching those numbers into the plaster mold for archiving location. Once the mold was complete. I cut and laid in place atop the structure after hand rubbing it with graphite. This work has four building's actual textures and site specific longitude and latitude locations. As a whole and interlocking work. It is specific to the archiving of existing structures. One of them is the Dali museum in St Petersburg, Fl.
